Founded in 2010 by James Cunningham, Toddleru2019s Academy has grown into a trusted preschool and aftercare community serving families across Middelburg. Our approach is built on Love, Affection and Attention, creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.

James founded Toddleru2019s Academy in 2010 with a passion for giving children a strong foundation built on Love, Affection and Attention. As the schoolu2019s owner and principal, he remains actively involved in its daily running and takes great pride in caring for every child. His goal is to create a safe, enjoyable and loving environment where children feel supported, confident and encouraged to learn, explore and grow.n
Owner & Administrator
Carinne joined her husband, James, at Toddleru2019s Academy in 2016 following a 28-year career in professional nursing. She supports the daily running of the school while overseeing staff, accounts, marketing and parent enquiries. Carinne takes great pride in welcoming new families and building meaningful relationships with parents. Known as the mother of the school, she is always ready to offer every child love, care, comfort and support.n
Centre Manager
Elaineu2019s journey with Toddleru2019s Academy began in 2010, and the school has since become a very special part of her life. As Centre Manager of Toddleru2019s Academy Educational Center, she assists with the management of the centre and the planning and development of its educational programme. Elaine is also a Phono-Graphix Reading Therapist and Coding and Robotics teacher, helping children strengthen their literacy, creativity, problem-solving and technological skills.nn
